Located 12 miles south of the campground, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park offers the Ewoldsen Trail and views of a 60-foot waterfall cascading onto the beach.

Located 1½ miles south of the campground, Pfeiffer State Park features leisurely strolls through ancient redwood forests to Pfeiffer Falls and the Oak Grove trail with views of the Big Sur valley.
