Barron's Outfitters

Barron's Outfitters has operated as Columbia's fishing and hunting outfitter since 1947. The shop outfits anglers for Lower Saluda River trout fishing, where cold water from the lake supports stocked rainbow and brown trout despite the river's distance from the mountains. For upstate fishing, they provide gear and guidance for brook, rainbow, and brown trout in South Carolina's mountain stream tributaries. The shop also serves striper anglers targeting major lakes including Clarks Hill, Lake Murray, Lake Hartwell, Lake Marion, and others across the Midlands, as well as coastal anglers pursuing offshore, inshore, and shoreline fishing from the Grand Strand to the Lowcountry. Barron's stocks spinning reels, baitcasting reels, fly reels, and rods from brands including Shimano, Penn, St. Croix, and Lamson, along with waders, boots, and apparel from Simms and other makers.
