About Dillia
Dillia is a ghost town in Ozark County, Missouri — one that no longer exists above the waterline. Though it carries an official classification as a populated place, its recorded coordinates now fall beneath Bull Shoals Lake, submerged within the Barren Fork Branch of the Little North Fork White River. There is nothing on dry land to visit.
For those curious about its general vicinity, the site sits roughly four miles south-southeast of the Hammond mill site and about four miles northeast of Theodosia. Visitors to the Bull Shoals Lake area may find the surrounding water and shoreline worth exploring, but no remnants of Dillia itself are accessible.
