About Borax
Borax is a ghost town and railroad siding sitting in Clark County, Nevada, alongside the Union Pacific Railroad east of Interstate 15. Little documentation survives about its origins or former character, so the site remains more of a historical footnote than a well-chronicled settlement.
Visitors should arrive with modest expectations. The remote desert setting and roadside railroad context are the main draw, and the reality is a sparse, rugged environment typical of this part of Nevada.
