GR is a 1.1-mile point-to-point route in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France, inside Parc national du Mercantour (aire d'adhésion). It runs between about 7,220 ft and 7,610 ft above sea level, with roughly 720 ft of climbing one way. It is a mountain path with steeper and uneven sections, so wear proper hiking shoes. Most of the way is dirt. It is mapped as a named hiking route, with the sections joined into one trail here. The nearest town is Isola, about 5.2 miles east of the trailhead. Peaks within about 3 miles include Tête de l'Adrech d'en Barris, Tête de la Cabane and Tête Grosse du Cheval.
