Nantel

Nantel is an out-and-back cross-country ski trail in Quebec, Canada. It is 1.2 miles each way, 2.5 miles there and back. It stays at about 1,240 ft above sea level and is close to flat. It is mapped as an easy route. It is a lightly prepared backcountry track rather than a machine-groomed trail. The nearest town is Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, about 1.6 miles west of the start. Peaks within about 3 miles include Mont Castor, Mont Sainte-Agathe and Colline Cross. For camping, Camping de Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and Camping du Domaine Lausanne are within about 6 miles. There are 35 other mapped trails within about 3 miles, so you can combine or extend the outing. Distances, elevations and the trail shape here come from OpenStreetMap and the Copernicus 90 m elevation model. Grooming and snow conditions change daily, so check the local trail report before you go.
