About this water
The Kennebago River in the Rangeley Lakes region is a classic Maine fly fishing stream known for wild brook trout and landlocked salmon. Much of the river flows through private sporting camp land but public access sections offer excellent fishing in a remote, forested setting. The river is fly-fishing only throughout most of its length, preserving the quality of the wild fishery.
