Burt Lake is one of the largest inland lakes in Michigan and part of the Inland Waterway, offering outstanding fishing for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and perch. The lake's clear waters and diverse structure make it a year-round destination, with ice fishing for perch and walleye being especially popular in winter. Burt Lake State Park provides excellent public access.
