Summit

T Hill

Wyoming

About

T Hill is a summit in Hot Springs State Park in Wyoming, less than a mile from the town of Thermopolis. Its location puts it within easy reach of town, and it pairs naturally with the short trails that start right alongside it. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Thermopolis weather station show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 80°F. The summit sits somewhat above that station, so temperatures on top run a little cooler. The T-Hill Trail and the Rim Loop are both about a tenth of a mile away. The Bighorn River, a fishing spot, lies about half a mile off. For paddling, Owl Creek is roughly 9 miles out.
