About Great River Road
The Great River Road is a 245.2-mile National Scenic Byway in Wisconsin, running from La Crosse through Pepin and Stockholm to East Dubuque. It passes through a long string of small towns, including Prescott, Hager City, Bay City, Maiden Rock, Stockholm, Pepin, Nelson, Alma, Buffalo City, Cochrane, Fountain City, Trempealeau, Holmen, French Island, Stoddard, Genoa, De Soto, Ferryville, Lynxville, Prairie du Chien, Patch Grove, Bloomington, Cassville, Potosi, Tennyson, Dickeyville, Kieler, Sandy Hook and East Dubuque.
