Willow Flowage Dam
About
Willow Flowage Dam is a boat launch in northern Wisconsin, about 13 miles from the town of Minocqua. Summer is the warmest stretch to be on the water. Typical July highs reach about 76°F with lows near 57°F, according to averages from a weather station just 0.3 miles away. June and August run only a few degrees cooler. Winters here are long and cold, with typical January highs around 20°F. When the snow comes, two cross-country ski areas sit about 6 miles from the launch: Lake Marie and Kennedy Fire Lane.
