About

The state park agency manages it, and the park holds one campground, which makes it a compact base for a stay on this part of the coast. July and August are the most comfortable months to visit. Typical highs reach about 69 to 70°F, with only about seven wet days a month, according to averages from a nearby weather station at Humptulips Salmon Hatchery. From November through January, highs typically sit in the mid-40s and about 20 days a month are wet. The Seabrook Perimeter Trail is the closest outing, under a mile away. Paddlers can reach the Moclips River and Joe Creek, each a little over 4 miles off, and Wreck Creek, about 6 miles away.
