Hope Island (Skagit) Marine State Park

Hope Island (Skagit) Marine State Park is a 181-acre Washington state park managed by the state park agency, located about 1.8 miles from the community of Snee Oosh. The park contains one campground. Typical averages from the Whidbey Island NAS weather station, about 5.6 miles away, show the mildest, driest stretch running from June through September. July and August highs reach about 69 to 70°F with lows near 54°F, and those months average only about six wet days each. June and September are a little cooler, with highs of 66 to 67°F and around nine wet days. Shoulder months bring highs in the high 50s to around 60°F, with lows in the 40s. Winter is cool and damp, with December and January highs near 49°F, lows around 38°F, and 16 to 17 wet days a month, though snow is rare. Other camping options lie close by.
