Sanwick Road End

Sanwick Road End is a public ocean beach in Washington, about 1.6 miles from Suquamish. It's a simple access point with parking, and there is no fee to use it. Swimming is not allowed here, so plan on enjoying the shoreline from the beach itself. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bremerton put July and August highs around 77°F, with only about six wet days a month, compared with roughly 19 or 20 wet days in the coldest winter months. Several short trails sit within a few miles, including Port Madison Water Company Trail #2 at about 1.9 miles and Manzanita Park Trail at about 2.4 miles. Farther afield, Port Gamble Heritage Park lies about 5.6 miles away, and the Cascadia Marine Trail Campsite at the Port of Brownsville is about 5.3 miles off.
