Leslie Landing - Winslow Way

Leslie Landing - Winslow Way is a public ocean beach in Washington, about 1.6 miles from the town of Bainbridge Island. It's a simple stop: there is parking on site and no fee to visit. Swimming is not allowed here, so plan on staying out of the water. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. At the nearby Bremerton weather station, typical July and August highs average around 77°F, with only about six wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the upper 40s and rain on most days. Several trails sit close by if you want to stretch your legs after a beach visit. Old Mill Trail and Kojima Trail are each about 1.2 miles away, and the Gazzam Lake Main Trail, popular for mountain biking, is about 1.8 miles off. For an overnight, the Cascadia Marine Trail Campsite at Fort Ward Park is roughly 3 miles from the landing.
