Jackson Beach County Park

Jackson Beach County Park is a public ocean beach in Washington, about a mile from Friday Harbor. The park has restrooms and accessible access, swimming is allowed, and there is no fee to visit. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical July and August highs reach the low 70s °F with lows around 50, and wet days are fewest then, about six to eight a month, based on averages from a nearby weather station in Friday Harbor. For a walk after the beach, Airport Trail starts less than a mile away, and Western Path and the Town to American Camp Trail are each about two miles off. Canoe Island French Camp, roughly four and a half miles away, is the closest campground.
