Boulevard Park / Bayview Marine Park

Boulevard Park / Bayview Marine Park is a public ocean beach in Washington, about 2.5 miles from Bellingham. It's a no-fee stop with restrooms and accessible access, making it an easy place to reach the shoreline close to town. Swimming is not allowed, so plan on enjoying the beach from the sand rather than the water. July and August are the most comfortable months to visit, with typical highs around 75°F and only about six wet days each month, based on averages from a nearby weather station. Winter is cool and frequently wet, with highs in the upper 40s and around 20 wet days a month from December through January. For more time outdoors nearby, Sehome Arboretum offers climbing about 1.3 miles away, and the Samish Crest Trail and Padden Loop Trail are both a little over 2 miles off. Larrabee State Park Campground, about 4.9 miles away, is the closest option for camping.
