Allyn Waterfront Park
About
Allyn Waterfront Park is a public beach in Washington, about half a mile from the town of Allyn. It's a simple stop with restrooms on site and no fee to visit, which makes it an easy place to pull over for time by the water. Summer is the most comfortable season. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Tacoma Narrows show July and August highs around 76°F, with only about four or five wet days a month. The park also works as a base for exploring the area. Koenemann Lake Trail is about 3.3 miles away, and the Inner Loop Trail is about 4.3 miles away. Farther out, paddlers can head to the Tahuya River, about 7.5 miles away, and campers can find Tahuya River Horse Camp nearby.
