No Mans Mesa
About
No Mans Mesa is a summit on land in the Bureau of Land Management's Paria River District in southern Utah, about 21 miles from the town of Cannonville. It sits in a stretch of canyon country with several short hikes close at hand, making it a natural anchor for a day of exploring the Paria area. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Kodachrome Basin Park weather station put May highs around 74°F and October highs around 68°F, with chilly nights near freezing in October. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the summit, so expect temperatures on top to run slightly cooler. The closest neighbors are the Hike to Starlight Arch and the Bypass to Height 6216, both under a mile away. A bit farther out are the Trail Through Ghost Town Pahreah, about 2 miles off, and Hogeye Canyon at roughly 3.5 miles.
