Ole Bull State Park
About
Ole Bull State Park is a 140-acre Pennsylvania state park managed by the state park agency, about 13 miles from the town of North Bend. It's a compact park, and its small footprint makes it a convenient base for the trails and camping areas that surround it. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the weather station at Renovo, about 15 miles away, show September highs around 75°F with lows near 52°F, while July highs reach about 83°F. Two trails start practically at the park's edge: the Susquehannock Trail and the Castle Vista Trail are each about a third of a mile away. Farther out, the Pritchard Trail lies about 3 miles off, and paddlers can find Young Womans Creek roughly 8.5 miles from the park.
