Roads End State Recreation Site
About
Roads End State Recreation Site is a small, 6-acre park in Oregon, about 1.8 miles from the community of Neotsu. Its compact size makes it a quick stop rather than a full-day destination, and it works well as a base for exploring the trails and waterways close by. Late summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show August highs around 72°F and only about seven wet days a month in July and August. Winter is far rainier, with wet days most of the month from November through January. Several hikes start within about two miles, including High Meadow Trail, Old Baldy Trail and Salmon River Trail.
