Rainbow Falls
About
Rainbow Falls is a waterfall in northern New York, about 5.5 miles from the town of Rodman. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. At the nearest weather station in Watertown, typical July highs average around 80°F, and September averages about 72°F. That station sits roughly 700 feet lower than the falls, so expect temperatures here to run somewhat cooler. The falls sit close to a cluster of mountain biking trails. Inman Glide is about 0.3 miles away and John Young is about half a mile off. The Whiteway hiking trail is roughly a mile away. Paddlers can head to South Sandy Creek, about 4 miles away.
