Dresser Island
About
Dresser Island is a boat launch in Missouri, about 4 miles from the town of Godfrey, Illinois. It serves as a put-in for boaters heading out from the Missouri side, with Godfrey the closest town for supplies and services. Late spring and early fall tend to be the most comfortable times to launch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 75°F and September highs near 80°F, with midsummer highs climbing into the upper 80s. For time on foot after a day on the water, River's Edge Trail in Illinois is about 10 miles away.
