Iagoo Falls

Michigan

About

Iagoo Falls is a waterfall in the Bessemer Ranger District of Michigan's Ottawa National Forest, about 13 miles from the town of Wakefield. It sits at roughly 860 feet of elevation. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical July highs reach about 77°F with lows near 55°F, based on averages from a nearby weather station in Ironwood. That station sits about 660 feet higher than the falls, so temperatures at the falls may run a little warmer. The falls sit right beside the Porcupine Mountains State Park - West River Trail_North Country Trail_Iron Belle Trail route, about half a mile away. Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is also close by. For an overnight stay, Black River Harbor Campground is about 5 miles off, and the Black River offers fishing at a similar distance.
