Kennedy Lake Boat Launch
About
Kennedy Lake Boat Launch is a boat launch on Kennedy Lake in Michigan, about 20 miles from the town of Newberry. It is a simple put-in point for getting a boat onto the lake. Summer is the warmest stretch for time on the water. Typical July averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 77°F and lows near 53°F, with June and August close behind. In winter, that same station records January highs in the mid-20s and lows around 7°F. The launch itself is a straightforward access point rather than a destination with facilities, so plan around it before you head out. Two cross-country ski areas sit within a few miles of the launch: Cub Hollow, about 3.3 miles away, and Bear Hollow, about 3.4 miles away.
