Unimproved Paddlecraft Launch
About
Unimproved Paddlecraft Launch is a boat launch in Florida, about half a mile from the town of Tice. It is a simple put-in for paddlecraft, and the name suggests it is not a developed or maintained launch site. The most comfortable months for a paddle are typically from November through April, when typical highs at a nearby weather station run from about 75°F to 85°F and wet days are few. Summer is hotter and much wetter, with highs around 92°F and rain on roughly half the days in July and August. For more time on the water, W.p. Franklin South Recreation Area is about 8 miles away, and W.p. Franklin N, a pier fishing spot, is a little farther.
