Navarre Beach: Michigan Street is a beach within Gulf Islands National Seashore in Florida, about half a mile from the town of Navarre Beach. It is a simple shoreline stop, close to town and easy to fold into a day spent along the coast. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 79°F and October highs around 80°F, while July and August average in the low 90s. For a change from the sand, the Florida National Scenic Trail - Panhandle Region lies about a mile away, and the J Earle Bowden Way hike is a similar distance.
