Hollywood: Johnson St. is a public beach access point in Hollywood, Florida, next to the Hollywood Beach Bandshell/Theater and about 3 miles from Hallandale Beach. It is set up for an easy beach day, with restrooms, lifeguards, accessible access and parking on site. Winter and early spring are the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Hollywood show highs in the upper 70s from January through March with only about six or seven wet days a month, while summer brings highs around 90 and twice as many wet days. There is a fee to use the access. Close by, the Hollywood Holds climbing area sits about 0.2 miles away, and two state park trails are within a short drive: Oleta River State Park Trail at about 8 miles and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park Trail at a little over 8 miles.
