Colorow Hill is a summit within Lookout Mountain Nature Center and Preserve in Colorado, about 2 miles from Golden. It sits right beside several of the preserve's trails, which makes it an easy add-on to a walk or ride in the area. Late summer into early fall is a comfortable window. The nearby Evergreen weather station records typical September highs around 73°F and lows near 40°F, and the summit sits a few hundred feet higher than that station, so temperatures up top run a little cooler. The Lookout Mountain Trail, popular with mountain bikers, passes just 0.1 mile away, and the Meadow Loop Trail and Beaver Brook Trail start within a few tenths of a mile. Climbers can head to Lover's Leap on Beaver Brook, about a mile off.
