The South-southwest Face, also called the Santa Rita Wall, is a climbing area in Colorado's Boulder Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests, on land managed by the Forest Service. Summer brings the mildest climbing weather. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Allenspark show July highs around 74°F with lows near 44°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. Piz Badille and Powerline Alcove are about 0.1 mile away. Peaceful Valley Campground and the Bridle Trail are each about 1.2 miles off.
