Nip and Tuck is a climbing area in the Boulder Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. It sits among a cluster of small crags. Stepping Stones lies just 0.1 mile away and Nursing Home about 0.3 mile off, so it's easy to combine with neighboring formations in a single outing. Summer brings the warmest conditions, with typical July highs near 79°F and lows around 50°F at a nearby weather station. September is cooler, averaging about 70°F by day and 41°F at night. The station sits roughly 320 feet off the crag's elevation, so expect conditions to be broadly similar, and plan for frequent wet days through mid- and late summer, when they peak at about 10 to 11 per month. For more nearby options, the Hawkins Surguine Spur mountain bike trail is about 0.8 mile away. Gordon Gulch campground lies roughly 3.8 miles off, and Middle Boulder Creek, a paddling run, is about 3.5 miles away.
