Little Five is a climbing area in Colorado, about 1.6 miles from the town of Cottonwood. The area sits right beside the Big Five climbing area and the Other Critters climbing area, all of them within about a tenth of a mile, so they make an easy cluster for a day on the rock. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Evergreen weather station show July highs around 81°F with lows near 49°F, while September cools to highs in the low 70s. Winters there are cold, with January highs around 44°F and lows near 12°F. Nearby options include the Canyon View Loop hike about half a mile away and the drift bypass mountain biking route at 0.7 miles. For an overnight stay, Mestaa’ėhehe Mountain Fire Lookout is about 6.3 miles off.
