Kumite Boulder is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land within the Grand Junction Field Office in western Colorado. It sits among a cluster of other bouldering spots, with Behemoth Boulder, Nine Mile Roped and Reba Boulders all about 0.1 mile away. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Grand Junction show May highs around 76°F and October highs around 67°F, while July averages climb to about 93°F. For a change from bouldering, the Mountain Bike Trail near East Creek Trailhead is about 2.2 miles away, and the Gunnison River Bluffs South trail is about 3 miles off.
