Jamcrack Spire is a climbing area in the Anderson-Debacker area of Colorado, on city-managed land. The site sits close to other climbing spots and trails, making it an easy addition to a day spent exploring the surrounding canyon. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F and lows near 50°F, with September easing back to about 70°F by day. That station sits roughly 1,000 feet lower than the spire, so expect temperatures up high to run cooler. The Maiden, The and Fatiron climbing areas are each about 0.1 mile away, and the Shadow Canyon Trail and Shadow Canyon North Trail are both about 0.2 mile off. For a longer outing, Boulder Creek offers canoeing about 4.5 miles away.
