Hallett Peak is a climbing area in the Rocky Mountain National Park Wilderness, inside Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, managed by the National Park Service. It is a destination for ice, mixed and snow climbing. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Boulder put July highs around 68°F with lows near 43°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s and lows drop to about 12°F. A fee is charged for entry to the park. Glacier Basin Campground, about 4.5 miles away, and Moraine Park Campground, about 5.4 miles away, are the closest places to camp. The Lake Haiyaha Trail and the Flat Top Mountain Trail are both about 0.9 miles away.
