Gateway Boulder is a climbing area in Colorado, about 1.4 miles from the town of Heritage Dells. It sits among a cluster of climbing, hiking and biking spots, so it works well as a base for a day of outdoor activity in the area. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Evergreen weather station show July highs around 81°F with lows near 49°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-40s. County Seat, another climbing area, is about half a mile away. The Zorro Trail and the Box O' Rox Trail are both within a mile, and Dakota Ridge RV Park offers camping about 1.3 miles off.
