The Caves is a climbing area on county land in the Mount Glennon area of Colorado, about 6.8 miles from the Marston Fltr Plt weather station. The surrounding land is managed by the county, and the area is a cluster of climbing spots rather than a single route. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby weather station show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 77°F, with July peaking near 86°F. Several climbing areas sit right next to The Caves, including Arrowhead Arete Area, Outside The Caves and Warm-up Traverse Area, each about 0.1 mile away. The Turkey Trot Trail is about 0.7 mile off.
