Candy Store Boulder is a bouldering spot in western Colorado on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management through its Grand Junction Field Office. It sits in a cluster of problems, with the Candy Store Area, Sol Tut Boulder, Veiled Citizen Boulder and Aqua Area all about a tenth of a mile away, so a session here can easily take in several nearby boulders. Spring and fall are the comfortable seasons. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run highs near 63°F in April and 66°F in October, while July averages highs around 93°F. For other ways to spend the day, the Tabeguache Trail and the Mountain Bike Trail near East Creek in Unaweep Canyon both start about 0.3 miles away, and KOA Holiday offers camping about 9.5 miles off.
