Bucket Cave Boulder, also known as Pumphouse, is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land within the Grand Junction Field Office in western Colorado. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, so it works well as one stop in a day of bouldering in the area. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 74°F and October highs around 66°F, while July averages climb to about 93°F. Several climbing areas lie just a tenth of a mile away, including Manchester Boulder, Rolling Stone and Western Rust Boulder. The Tabeguache Trail is about half a mile off for a hike.
