China Camp State Park

China Camp State Park is a California state park managed by State Park and Recreation, about 1.6 miles from McNears Beach. Its trail network draws both mountain bikers and hikers, and several named routes start close by inside or near the park. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show mild conditions year-round with no snow days in any month. Summer is dry: July and August average highs of 81°F with lows in the mid-50s and essentially no wet days. September stays just as warm at 81°F. October cools to around 75°F with only a few wet days.
