Tennessee Cove
About
Tennessee Cove is a beach within Golden Gate National Recreation Area in California, about 2 miles from the town of Muir Beach. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Kentfield show May highs around 74°F and October highs around 76°F, with only a few wet days in each month. Summer is drier, with July and August highs near 83°F and almost no wet days. Several mountain biking trails lie close by, including the Miwok Trail at about 1.7 miles and the Middle Green Gulch Trail at about 1.8 miles. Climbers can head to Cliff House Boulders, roughly 4.8 miles away, and anglers will find Aquatic Park Cove, Black Point, about 7.4 miles off.
