Seascape Sur Stairway
About
Seascape Sur Stairway is a public ocean beach in California, about a mile from Solana Beach. Lifeguards are on duty, swimming is allowed, and there is no fee to use it. Late summer into early fall is the warmest stretch, with typical highs around 76°F in August and September and very few wet days, based on averages from a nearby weather station. Winter stays mild, with typical highs in the mid-60s. Inland trails make an easy pairing with a beach day. Solana Hills Trail lies about 1.3 miles away, and Salt Marsh Bird View trail and Crest Canyon Trail are both within about 2 miles. For paddling, the San Dieguito River is roughly 8.6 miles off.
