Have you ever wondered how the trees in our treasured forests put on such a brilliant display in the autumn? Now you can join a ranger on this 2-mile hike to take in the fall colors and learn the science behind the spectacular color change as you feel the seasons shifting around you. This route has a steep but manageable climb. Meet at the Rock Creek Park Nature Center porch, bring plenty of water, dress for the weather, and be prepared for a fun and enjoyable outing.

- The Nature Center and Planetarium is located at 5200 Glover Rd NW Washington, D.C. 20015. Meet on the front porch.
