About SILVER CREEK MARSH
Provides access to Fremont National Recreation Trail #160 - Northern Segment. Silver Creek Marsh Trailhead is located 15 minutes south of Silver Lake, Oregon. This spacious, timbered trailhead offers pastoral meadow and marsh views, as well as access to miles of backcountry trails. Proceeding west from the trailhead leads uphill towards Yamsay Mountain Semi-Primitive Recreation Area, while eastbound leads towards Hager Mountain and Winter Rim beyond. You can enjoy bird watching, fishing, hiking and horseback riding from Silver Creek Marsh. For horses, visitors will two large corrals with eight total stalls that can accommodate 10-12 horses. There are also several hitching rails at designated stock sites.
