Lady Moon Trailhead

The Lady Moon Trail meanders south for just over a mile to where it junctions with the Molly Lake Trail (#991). Visitors can then take the Molly Lake Trail west for 3.8 miles to its trailhead which is located on County Road 69, Manhattan Road, three miles south of the Red Feather Lakes Road. Numerous game trails and logging roads can be seen along the Lady Moon Trail, and some lead to a saddle for a view above Lady Moon Lake (private land) from Forest Service land. The Lady Moon Trailhead has a parking lot that can accommodate one or two horse trailers. Horse camping is allowed along Lady Moon Trail.
