About Dinosaur Quarry Trailhead
Dry Mesa Quarry Trailhead is located on the Uncompahgre Plateau. Its 26 miles outside of Delta, CO. This trailhead provides non-motorized recreational opportunities. Visitors can enjoy exploring the aftermath of what was once one of the highest producing Jurassic era fossil pits in the Morrison Formation. There is no toilet access available at this site. 4-wheel drive and high clearance is required to access this trailhead.
