Roaring River State Park in the Ozarks is one of Missouri's four designated trout parks, with a spring producing over 20 million gallons of cold water daily. The river runs through a scenic Ozark hollow and supports excellent rainbow trout fishing with a designated catch-and-release section. The park is especially popular in spring and fall when trout are most active.
