About Little Annie
Little Annie is a never-opened ski area located in Colorado's high country, representing an intriguing piece of ski development history. While the resort never launched commercial operations, the terrain and infrastructure represent what would have been a mid-sized alpine destination. The location offers access to Colorado's expansive backcountry skiing opportunities, with numerous untracked couloirs and bowl skiing available to experienced backcountry enthusiasts. The surrounding area features excellent cross-country skiing and snowshoeing through pristine subalpine forests during winter months, while summer transforms the region into prime hiking and trail running territory with wildflower meadows and panoramic views of the Continental Divide.
