Experience the breathtaking beauty of Vermont’s autumn landscape on a ranger-guided Fall Foliage Hike at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.
Surrounded by a stunning tapestry of colorful leaves, this guided hike will explore the ecological significance of the forest's changing hues, while highlighting the stewardship legacy of the Billings and Rockefeller families. The crisp fall air and dazzling surrounding nature make this an unforgettable experience that will connect you to the park's rich heritage and the splendor of Vermont's fall foliage. The walk will take approximately one hour and cover a distance of approximately 1 mile (1.6 km).
This tour begins at the Carriage Barn Visitor Center.
Advanced reservations are highly recommended. Visit Recreation.gov to schedule a tour or program in advance.
- Where to meet
- Parking for Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is located at Billings Farm & Museum. The Billings Farm & Museum is located off Route 12, half a mile north of the village of Woodstock. From Woodstock, cross the iron bridge and make a right onto Old River Road.

- Please arrive to check in at the Carriage Barn Visitor Center at least 15 minutes before your program begins.
