About this program
Have you always known whaleships to be exclusively for men ? Join in with one of our volunteers as she shares journals and historical records supporting that women assisted with navigation, served in medical roles, and built relationships with whaling families around the world.
- Where to meet
- The talk is at the visitor center Makerspace, second floor. The main entrance is located at the top of the front steps on William Street. An accessible ramp entrance is available on the right side of the building through the Visitor Center Garden.
- Good to know
- The talk begins promptly at 6 pm. Please arrive a few minutes early to meet the speaker
